Flash - had seen this video before - not sophisticated but content is good and easy to understand

Here is my understanding -

Checkpoint inhibitors really help immune system to attack the cancer cells - the mAb based drugs help to identify the cancer cells so T cells can attack them

These drug really do not address the cause of cancer ie break in cell death cycle which leads to growth /creation of new cancer cells but address the symptom ie killing already grown tumor cells

K is really trying to address the cause of tumor cells ie by activating the cell death cycle by activating P53 (which is damaged or mutated)

So if K really works - it will stop the tumor cycle and new cancer cells will not be created. (Cancer stabilization)

Then question remains is - even when K works, what will happen to all cancer cells in the tumor -it may need chemo-radiation or immunotherapy

Hopefully DF and Mayo can get some answers
