Friendly reply to insanity. Going back to work, investing, are not insanity but stressful. I lost on blue chips on at least 3 recessions while making good money and always recovering from those extreme bear markets. Surfing keeps me sane and 3 great college educated children are my greatest accomplishments. Blue chips always recovered in time, of which I don't have that luxury due to aging and being laid off after 38 years in the newspaper industry. i have many options other than this. As a matter of fact stocks have worked out for me in owing no debt for those growing years, leaving my children without college debt.
