This is a clear chart of the volume and the SP. Notice the change and draw your own conclusion. IMO those who bought at the higher levels (the range which you describe)aren't able to sell again that high. If they are lucky a few shares. From my I own experience I can say it is hard to sell at a loss. But judging by how fast the SP went down again, there are a lot shares bought at a higher SP trapped. Im not saying they should sell at a loss, but the chances are very little they are the ones who can get their money back. So it is either sell at a loss now or gamble for that with a huge risk to end up in a RS and lose way more then they would if they sold now.
