I know there has been much violence and bloodshed in today's world by many in the Islam faith. These people are deceived. They believe that they are pleasing their god, Allah, by doing these crimes. If people refuse to convert to the Islam faith, they believe that Allah wants them to do these acts against those who will not convert. If it were not for that belief they would not do it. They actually believe that they are doing what is right by killing and torturing people.
On the other hand, I also believe that there are many peace-loving Muslims. These are mostly the Muslims that are Muslims in name only. They really don't have a lick of faith in the religion, but they chose to convert to avoid being tortured and killed. Some of them actually hate the religion, but were forced into it. They allowed themselves to be coerced in this religion because they do not know the real truth. Those who know the real truth will not give that truth up even if it means being tortured and killed.
