There are hundreds of penny stocks that are ill run and whose BOD and officers pay themselves handsomely to the detriment of shareholders. I also follow some of the junior gold miners and the industry is rife with company officers living large on shareholder dreams. It is not necessarily illegal, tho' you can easily argue "immoral". VRNG has high powered atty's used to high powered fees. I'll bet they thought their high salaries would be backed up by high returns. If it weren't for what might be considered a "Hail mary" from GOOG that was caught by one judge with his own agenda, you might be singing the praises of this management.

You say I am missing the biggest point of all..... I disagree. It IS a point, but mainly I hear hindsight and bitterness over huge previous losses. I certainly agree with the poor communication style that has been repeatedly pointed out. If you feel that the bad decisions of management far outweigh the potential benefits, then you are not trapped, you are free to sell, mourn your losses and sense of betrayal and find greener pastures. I lost a BUNCH in the GOOG fiasco, and have now re-entered based largely on the same argument as "morning dew" !! (good one!). As he has stated, it is pointless to argue who is right or wrong, time will sort that out.

Coming from a medical background, I am very familiar with poor communication skills and big egos that may be entirely at odds with good technical skills and obsessive-compulsive traits that i actually want in someone who may be messing around with a scalpel inside my head! I'm willing to forgive lack of communication and hand-holding if execution is achieved. There is enough evidence for ME to continue to speculate on this stock. There may not be enough evidence for you, which is absolutely your decision based on your own DD....

good luck! H***, I'll take luck in addition to skill on this stock!
