Man that contract would have been nice to get. Up to $32 million. But by the looks of it, Meggitt was awarded the original contract at least a year or two ago. Which possibly means Virtra got their $6m contract after that, which would be a positive because it means the government might be switching to Virtra on new projects. Since this was the second order for Meggitt under that contract, it was likely just easier for the military to continue using them than it would have been to write up a new contract with Virtra. That's just the nature of government. Once you win a multi-year, multi-order contract, it's pretty hard to unseat you in the middle of it.
