I believe the loss of this tech is primarily caused by GREED. If at the right university and with the right support, this would already be at market. Let me repeat that: ALREADY AT MARKET AND YEP, joint partnerships like that happen _ALL_ _THE_ _TIME_. This is one of the very reasons we are no longer alone in this market. Instead, our MJ-busting (lmfao) tech is nowhere near the market and the MJ-sniffing "Hound" or whatever it's called will be giggling with contracts, all the biz, and the money. Besides, even if we DO make it to market, IT DOESNT MATTER BECAUSE THEY SCREWED EVERYONE ON SHARES EXCEPT THEMSELVES IMO.

And it's a debacle, agree. And their 2ND near-identical debacle. All we need is the SEC or another understandably-concerned guv agency to get involved and it will be a carbon copy, right down to the same investors, same losers in management, and same result. I think we may have deeply misunderstood the Plummer-Barbera relationship after Plummer went to the clink-- Barbera and him were actually 2 nasty peas in a pod, only Barbera found a way to avoid jail time.
