KATX explores for mineral deposits in and around central and eastern Newfoundland, Canada. It's focus has been on Sediment-Hosted Stratiform Copper Deposits in the eastern portion of the province.
The company owns the Hodderville Copper property on the Bonavista Peninsula which is comprised of 180 claims totaling 11,000 acres.
The Hodderville claims cover a number of SSC copper showings hosted by the Rocky Harbor group of rock which lie below the Crown Hill Formation.
The company believes that the definitive evidence of native copper in the area which is accompanied by a 13KM NE/SW fault zone is a strong indicator of a possible feeder zone for other copper discoveries.
More importantly, the company is confirming that assay results from the old field's pit ran as high as 2.5% Cu!

A number of the world’s biggest mining companies are optimistic on copper including Rio Tinto Group who has been upbeat about copper use in China.

With the dramatic rise in gold, copper and silver, KATX feels that its focus is in the right areas and will proceed to bring its properties to their full potential.
KATX also has a great interest in gold properties in and around the central area. One of these is the Handcamp Property area that has thus far provided high grade gold numbers as high as 158 g/t. With the discovery of Rare Earth Elements(REE) on its 100% owned "Rusty Ridge" property, the company will expand it's focus in this area as well.
The company also has two mines in the state of New Mexico and are excited to begin the process of reawakening these mines and generate revenues for the company.
