There may have been a major slip of the tongue by Dr. Kim when he stated in his CNN interview that the company had only begun development of its new drug a month ago. Now other research orientated pharmaceutical firms, possessing far greater capabilities in both assets and man power than Innovio, have been tipped off that they can now begin similar R and D programs in this arena, with the goal in mind of bringing a drug to market much more quickly than INO and its future partners, ever could do at this juncture.
