It takes time from the initial interviews (or whatever the SEC visits were for) to put together a case, and to bring a crook like Joel in front of a judge. Even then, jailtime is probably unlikely. I guess it depends on exactly what shenanigans Joel was up to. We don't know the full story yet.
I doubt we'll hear from Mr. Natario again. When the SEC comes out with a list of charges, maybe we'll get a better idea of what led to all this......
