Hi Gail. I agree with you, it was a mess, and on both Wednesday and Thursday.

BTW, Sorry I missed some reports, but I have been battling a rather nasty case of whatever it is that is going around. The wife and I have been trading this back and forth and it has come back on me four times.

I have seven pages (small legal pad) of notes from Wed' and Thur', but the show labeled some groups and not others, and that was just one problem with tracking it all. Here's what I thought.

A lot of disappointment as a lot people failed to step up, and far too many people showed that they were all about themselves and can't work with others. There were some very strong performers, but it looks like we could save everybody a lot of headache and narrow it down to the top twenty right now, and that would be mostly woman as there is a big shortage of male singers this year; I liked Joey Hendricks and don't understand why he was let go.

I don't care who wins, male or female is OK with me, as long as they are good and not just favored some other reason - it is supposed to be about talent. With all of talent they have I think the show went astray with the back stories and buffoonery, they should skip all of the bullchitt and show us more singing.

I'm here with ya, I just been out sick. I have been a loyal follower of this show since close to the end of the first season, but I have mixed feelings about the show ending. AI seems to have lost their direction, as much as I like the show, they irritate me and bore me with the stupid crap.

Three very good judges and a lot of talent, but they insist on playing down to the teens with stupid stuff, stories about some peoples struggles and childish antics. It's a shame, I hate to see AI end, but I see all to clearly why it is so.

... Gary
