Decision makers resist purchasing from a stinky-pinky / job-for-life ruling emperor.
Unlisted mom-and-pop, secretive hobby enterprises are very often summarily rejected.

Real players act like real players in any industry.
Perception does matter in the real world.
Amateurs always supply excuses.
And remain only 3rd tier.
Listing does matter.
Transparency.
