Hi Adam Tom

He has an account at a bank . He is in a balanced fund. The fund is a fund of funds. it takes 1.6 % in fees it aso pays the financial advisor a fee.
i dont want to say the name. the difference between it and vanguards vwinx is the fees. As both are about 60/40 mix of bonds and stocks.

vwinx is about 7% annualized last ten years. it is about 5.5%

I read some where that the mix of components determins outcome of an investment.

They constantly add and drop funds in the mix I believe to generate fees to the fund management.

I think he could do better with some balanced low cost funds such as prwcx or vwinx etc.

Thank you

Neko
