The whole idea of forbidding guns to people who are a “substantial risk” of injury to themselves or others is a scary one. Who determines the level of risk and metal stability? How firm are these levels?? Will this level set by politicians or doctors, and will gun owners be on the panel of this decision???
Too much of a slippery slope here, in fact I think the slopes are coated with grease. Too many gun owners are willing to go along with this idea and apparently have not given it proper consideration.
