Why wouldn't one try a non-pharma, non-invasive solution to pain FIRST, NOT LAST.

I found this post about spinal stims:

Donna Forster I had a doc try the ultrasound on mine and it didn't do anything. I'm not sure the tens will either as I didn't get a change to really try it, but for $35, I'd give it a Shot. I wouldn't d surgical, it paralyzed my brother when they put one in his back, they had to do emergency surgery to remove it. He ok now after PT, but that was too scary for me to try it.

Scary is right!
