How many times have you read stories like this? Why is there no check & balances?
The most basic business principle test I know when it comes to money is never trust ANYONE no matter who they are.
I just don't get it.
So simple it only takes few minutes every week to go online and check bank activity.
But nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
Common sense doesn't exist in this country anymore!

MONROE, Wash. -- Monroe police arrested a 44-year-old woman Thursday for first degree theft after more than $13,000 went missing from a Park Place Middle School PTSA account.

The arrest came after two months of investigation.

A newly-formed PTSA group at the school brought Monroe police financial records that showed the former PTSA treasurer was the only name listed on a sole signer account. She also had a debit card for the account in her name.

ATM withdrawals from the account started in May 2014 and continued through August 2015 -- a total of 31 cash withdrawals of between $200 and $700 that added up to $13,226.57.

When confronted, the suspect admitted to taking the money and spending it on gambling and personal expenses. According to police, she said she didn't realize she had taken so much from the account

David Hanen, whose daughter goes to the school, said he was shocked when he heard the news.

“It was heartbreaking,” he said. “It’s like stealing from everyone in our community. We’re all hurt by this.”
