running the insane asylum??????
I know I am not well educated, but explain to me how we have
record bankruptcy filings and a fed that is going to fight
inflation. The most inflationary thing in business is labor and
that cost has to be passed on to us the consumer. Now the fed is
raising rates to fight inflation while business are going out
of business and you impose a minimum wage hike. I have seen
people see job hours worked cut back in order for the company
not have to pay insurance on them so they hire more part time
workers.
Now here is the most stupid part. We have and will continue to
have bankruptcies in the oil producers. This will also affect
the banks that made the loans. Is the government stepping in to
assist these companies who actually have assets, NO. Yet the
government is spending billions on losing projects like solar
energy that has zero assets. No question oil goes lower but if
you want to keep companies and banks going then loan these
companies interest free money since when they go bankrupt you
will spend more assisting these families with food stamps and
living houses and even paying the utility bill. Tell me which
is better paying all these bills or keeping low cost of fuel
and tax payers providing this low cost fuel. Buy providing these
companies the ability to stay in business the employees are
productive tax payers, not keeping these companies going makes
these people welfare recipients and non paying citizens. Lower
cost of oil benefits all while you are spending billions on
so far failed projects with zero assets.
Besides the 10,000 jobs added by the company think about the
other jobs. You have electric companies, water and sewer, police,
fire department, barbers, beauty shops, churches, fitness centers,
along with movie theaters, all kind of service industries, lawn
service, oil change shops, car dealers. grocery stores, paint
stores, Lowes, Home Depot, Ace Hardware. pizza shops, hamburger
establishments, restaurant's parks, day care center, doctors,
hospitals. Probably another 2,000 jobs.
Once again it proves that only idiots could be running the
asylum and common sense is no where to be found. Force higher
wages on struggling business and watch productive companies
go belly up. Now that is fighting inflation.
How many retailers are in trouble and yet they will be forced
to raise what they pay the employees, bankruptcy in the making.
Sears maybe a classical case, stay tuned to see where Sears goes
in 2 years.
I am sure most of you have a even better plan than me, but I am
sick of seeing idiots live our lives.
