I have another theory...there are some shareholders who got their shares for essentially nothing. For example, the deal that was made to acquire the assets of Wellness (and no, for the millionth time, Dahl was not an owner, did not have the patents and got nothing personally from it) resulted in a large number of shares being paid/transferred to the VC firm that did own the company. The strike price of the shares at that time means nothing, because the alternative was a complete loss.

So, if you get something for nothing, any price other than zero is a win. And you have a large bag from which you can sell and sell and sell.
