What a joke that is, I'm with you on that problem.
I think that the Presciosa site is a wonderful sight.
I think the ship itself was completely salvaged, hence I believe I know the name of the ship.
But you know better than anyone else the torrent winter waters of the North Coast.
I believe as you do that there is much in the way of wonderful artifacts left there.
(I guess Beeker knows it too!!)
I just don't believe that its the San Miguel.
Beeker has requested access to the site early summer 2016 for a three week internship project.
As usual he comes bearing gifts.
I was contacted by one of his minions for information about the wreck, I'm certain they are still waiting by the phone as they are not getting anything out of me.
I researched the Quedagh Merchant for him, when the Domnican government allowed him on a probable wreck site, Then next thing that happened was that he claimed that it was irrefutably the QM and that he found it!!!
What a crock- there is no definitive proof as to the identity of the shipwreck and it was found by a local retired Italian guy living in Casa de Campo.
I wouldn't worry about the site though, what could a bunch of college kids find on a three week summer vacation?
