I am an American who lives in the DR for half the year
I am a retired Biotech CFO and investor (at one time in DBM, Cap Cana Group, Silver Bank, NCR and others). The money that I throw at these companies varies from play money to serious investment.
I have to admit that Wilf fooled me.
I do research to keep myself busy, I was never a diver, but I love the history of shipwrecks
The days of Bob Marx type self styled false claims are over, there is too much truthful information out there for nonsense to be believed.
So it bothers me when false claims are made.
If Captain Billy wants to write a book, then he should make it the best most factual book he can
If he chooses to publish half truths, they will follow him for the rest of his days.
You can not claim to find what someone else found.
You cannot claim an identity of a shipwreck just because it has not yet been found
and you cannot blame other people for your failures.
Captain Billy will find a very narrow audience, as two clicks on an internet browser will cast enough doubt upon his claims to taint his work.
What author wants that?
It is his prerogative
