That article is correct that OSTK traffic seems to be declining. See for yourself at Compete.com

Instructional to compare OSTK's shares with Wayfair's, an ecommerce newcomer. W is up about 35% for 2015; OSTK is off an incredible 48%.

I follow many ecommerce stocks and understand the business well. OSTK is the runt of the litter. Shoppers have largely forgotten it.
