A "w" for the Repubs in the soon-to-be signed budget bill is lifting the 40-year-old ban on exporting American oil - which might explain why Repub pols fought so hard for fracking and all those "jobs it would create" in spite of the damage it does to the environment and most of those fracking jobs would be temporary.
Exporting Am oil will almost certainly increase the cost at the pump for Americans but, hey, when a pol is beholding to the oil industry, ya gotta do what ya gotta do.
