Carly Fiorina’s town hall meeting draws just fourteen people




To the surprise of most American voters, Carly Fiorina is still running for President. We say that because her swift rise in the polls this fall was met with an even quicker decline into irrelevance, to the point that she’s now within the margin of error of zero in most national polls. That’s prompted the republican party’s only female 2016 candidate to place her focus specifically on the early primary voting state of Iowa. The trouble: no one in that state appears to know she’s still running either.

Fiorina held an Iowa Town Hall meeting the night before last, with the seating capacity for the event suggesting that she was several hundred attendees at a minimum. But a photo posted on social media from David Mixner reveals that the attendance at the town hall was closer to fourteen people. That’s not a typo. That’s two more than a dozen people. It’s fourteen more than zero people.

Apparently, Carly Fiorina went on to address the mostly empty room anyway, taking questions from the handful of attendees, each of whom practically had the candidate to themselves. An average of national polls says that she has just two percent support from registered republicans, good enough for ninth place within her own party.
