This is the wrong way to go (again) for Baristas. Baristas does not have successful stores yet. They're not going to make any money from k-cups. Not now, not ever. Unless their brand is recognizable. K-cups are just an addendum item to a successful business, and shouldn't be available yet. Since they didn't work on a successful brand first, then the k-cups will operate at a loss. Same with ice cream.

How to get a recognizable brand: The reality show would have been amazing for brand recognition, but since years have gone by and nothing happened, investors can only imagine that as dead. So how else do you get a recognizable brand? You make successful stores. And then you duplicate your success in market studied areas. This has yet to be done. This was step one which they glazed over. It's actually a good thing Baristas didn't acquire Tully's, what with their failed business model. Duplication of a failure on a mass scale would be a catastrophe.

I've said it before, I was only here for the reality show. It was a gamble..

Baristas management: Your ducks are still in the wrong order. Make a successful store and then duplicate it successfully.
