They "bought" those wells from UNGS with a note due 7/31/15 and they didn't make that payment. They wouldn't have missed that $360K payment simply because they didn't have the money, so they must have realized the wells were worthless and refused to honor their agreement.
Ethical Porters never refuse to honor agreements except when advantageous.
I have no humble opinions, but I do have opinions and those are what I express in my posts. BUT...I have been wrong before and likely will be wrong again so do your own research and don't blame me if you are too lazy to do so.
