1. In fairness to yank, he is one of the only negative posters that actually tries to defend the government's action with slightly reasonable answers.
Clearly , that is a tough job!

2. These answers need a response, so I post. There was another substantive exchange back in June of 2014. I was active on the fnmas board back in 2013, but they all moved to google.

3. Since it's getting to be that time of year, please watch the conservative's favorite spokesman on housing policy -Henry Potter from the movie "It's a wonderful life". I am all for changing Freddie's name to Jimmy Stewart and Fannie can be Donna Reed Mae etc. I agree with Frank Raines that changing the names may be the only way to save the gse's.
