Huh? If "chance of event" is "zero" if not in the trial, there would be no reason to hold the trial in the first place, and no reason for us to own AMRN stock. The chance of an event to be recorded and kept in a database owned by AMRN is zero for someone not in the trial (obviously), but they have the same chance as a patient in the placebo group of having an event - maybe even slightly higher, since those in the trial may be taking better care of themselves on hopes that they're in the drug group. And all patients in the trial (drug or control group) are likely seeing doctors/clinicians much more regularly than those not in it - that provides some safety advantages as well. A lot of people with poor health don't go to the doctor because they just don't want to hear bad news, believe it or not - I did that with my dentist, much to my misfortune, including my wallet - made a bad situation way worse than it would have been had I'd gotten regular checkups.
