Yes indeed it is but as explained in the 60 mins article it has not catches on there.
M pesa is very limited and doesn't use the conventional banking system at all.
The company MYEC is able to do both and I feel when the Africa bank comes out with its press release it will open up the floodgates.
That's why I am long......very long in MYEC
