I'm a little short on time so excuse the brief response , but Chas wrote ( roughly ) " Probability of subject having an event is proportional to time in the trial "

My view is that the longer it takes to fully enroll the trial means the longer it will take to reach the 967th event ---all other risk factors being equal between the 2 arms ( except 1 with V and 1 not )
