I think they rejected your market order for your protection what if the only stock that was offered at the time you put in your market order was someone who had an open order to sell there stock for fifty cents or even a dollar IMO that's what you would have to pay. I think the same goes for a sell at the market order you would get what someone is willing to pay at the time the order in put in JMO
