I just tried placing a market order with Ameritrade and you are
right and received this message .
" Rejected as clients are not allowed to place Market transactions with OTCBBN securities."

Thought they allowed it but then again I never in my years at Ameritrade ever tried to enter a market order with penny stocks till now.
