There seems to be concern over the possibility of VPER doing a reverse split. Granted, reverse splits can be an indication of problems for a company. In many cases they are done so that a company can maintain its listing on a particular stock exchange by keeping the SP higher than the minimum level required to stay listed.. AIG and Citi are good examples of this action. For a company like VPER it is strategy that could increase it exposure to investors that would never consider a sub penny stock. It is also a shortcut to jump to a higher level of pinks. I can't think of a reason for VPER management to implement a RS unless they are expecting that the action will benefit share price.
