LOL! Um, maybe more like the house staff at a really, really bad hotel. One day he's a bellhop, the next month he's bringing "room service" to the guests, then he is washing the toilets when the guests Czech ~OUTT before the next guests arrive to Czech-in.

Some times, he will be called to fix a busted/jammed toilet if he's on maintenance crew.

Cadre live apart from the transferees, butt he has to WORK amongst them in many roles - working the commissary, laundry, food line, room service to the cellies who can't dress for dinner, washing ~OUTT the feces in the SHU cells from the nutjobs, painting, landscaping, mopping floors, etc. for all the transferee facilities.

PLUS the cadre also have to take care of their own segregated housing unit as any low/low camp inmate has to.

Generally, being cadre at the FTC or a FMC (medical facility) entails some pretty nasty jobs (think nursing home or hospital orderly - or janitor), butt the upside for Roofie is that Anissa and the kids like in OKC so they can visit him easier than when he was in Texarkana. Plus sometimes the cadre get a better set of commissary options to choose from than the other inmates "passing through" - although a lot of the medical inmates will be staying for the duration and need longterm or terminal care and will be passing on rather than through.

OKC FTC is where the low-security inmates like Roofie really mix with a lot of the bad boys, so there's always that to look forward to - maybe some guy he pisses off knocks both of Roofie's remaining hillbilly teef ~OUTT. We can hope!
