I'm not sure that's an accurate characterization.
From what I can tell he, like me, believes in the technology and does his best to recognize mitigating circumstances that might alleviate some of the (unwarranted) blame heaped upon the management.
There's lots of blame that is deserved, IMO, but as with so many things the sour taste in one's mouth bleeds over to color other things worse than they are. Many of the current negative situations were initiated or exacerbated by things beyond management's control.
They can rightfully held to task for lack of foresight, being too slow to recognize some things, making too many promises gone unfulfilled until the market lost all confidence in them, ...
In that regard the negatives not caused by things outside their control have been either unaddressed (excessive facilities expense?), addressed too late (recent cost cutting moves), or just flat exacerbated by managements' failings.
