Yes, but how much more did it cost? From what I can tell fuel cell cost have drop dramatically over the last 5 years due to the reduction in Platinum used. A fuel cell stack that could power a mid size car back then use to cost +$100k itself. Now Toyota can make a full fuel cell car for around $60k.
The last remaining piece is a cheap, green hydrogen source.
