Interesting. Watching a trauma show documentary filmed in Boston. Man thinks he's having heart burn and left arms gone numb. So he's emergency transported to the general hospital and they connect him to the cardiac monitors. Having a heart attack. Giving him varied medications and prep for a procedure to open a major vessel to his heart. I start thinking. What if he were in the MSTX , purified MST 188 HEART FAILURE study? How might it impact the blood supply , vascular linings, heart muscle cell deaths, damages, and repairs over the next six weeks, or beyond? How would the research team get to him as he came through the trauma center? Which patients' might have the right diagnostic criteria, to be a part of the trial? Would he, upon agreement, be put right away on the IV infusion of this MSTX drug, along with the other drugs? What other drugs would be acceptable? Things move so fast! What will the MSTX research team be looking FOR DURING THE CRITICAL assessment? How will they integrate with the medical staff, labs, patient and family? This is obviously a life or death time frame. What records will be required by researchers and FDA , to guarantee ongoing validation in every phase? This process will be dramatic in nature. MSTX has already generated preliminary studies information and significant conclusions which are being put in place for hospitals/ research centers. Trauma centers will be drawing up agreements and contracts, relative to participation and treatment in the study. Training of labs, medical and nursing staffs will be underway. Consider: brand new drug for this purpose ( though MST 188 has been tested extensively with the trauma of vascular occlusive events in Sickle Cell Disease patients). This being a novel approach, and novel for use in heart failure treatment, will require extensive overseeing by the medical research team attendants. Three weeks later, that same patient receives another IV infusion, and tracking will go out from time of the initial heart failure 188 infusion, beyond six weeks. Phase2? Already starting phase 2? And if this goes well, MSTX starts the stroke study? Its nothing shy of amazing to me. Being presently invested, and having long term expectancies, I am starting to think "American baby boomers". Interesting how that TV show got me thinking. I can't wait to learn more. It's been a long week. Everybody have a peaceful and safe weekend. Oh, yes. If these curiosities are perceived as a pump, then so be it. All stated IMO.
