SHANGHAI, Nov. 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Solar Power, Inc. ("SPI") (OTCBB: SOPW), a global provider of photovoltaic (PV) solutions for business, residential, government and utility customers and investors, today announced that Melodious International Investments Group Limited has exercised the option to purchase 3,703,704 shares (the "Shares") of common stock of SPI at a price of US$2.70 per share for a total purchase price of US$10 million, pursuant to an option agreement between the two parties dated May 4, 2015. The Shares are restricted securities and are subject to a three-month lock-up period.
