Cornbread, Talk to your Information Technology Department!
Your IT department must be using some service to screen Web Domain Names (e.g. curaegis.com or www.curaegis.com) and block them based on some "blacklist" of problem IP addresses. Curaegis.com, before it became recently active online, temporarily shared the IP address 208.91.197.39 (hosted on servers in the British Virgin Islands) with numerous other newly registered Domain Names. It is likely your IT department is associating curaegis.com with this no longer relevant IP address via a Domain-to-IP conversion service that is using outdated info and is blocking any Domain Name associated with it. This is a problem with your IT department and the Domain-to-IP conversion service they are using and has NOTHING to do with anything Torvec/CurAegis has done to implement their website.
There are numerous websites that will convert Domain Names to IP addresses and provide various other info about the Domain. In some cases it makes a big difference whether you enter curaegis.com or www.curaegis.com for the Domain. http://www.whoismind.com/whois/curaegis.com.html still gives the old IP 208.91.197.39 Virgin Islands address. http://whatismyipaddress.com/hostname-ip gives the new correct IP 52.21.174.231 if you enter www.curaegis.com
