nearly 2 years ago, while Schewe pretended it was a new idea. What a CON job.

PASADENA, CA, November 3, 2008-VIASPACE Inc. (OTCBB: VSPC) today announced the Company is focused on commercial farming of its new fast-growing hybrid grass to initially capture a significant share of China's $40 billion market for animal feed. The high-yield grass is ideal for feeding livestock as well as producing cellulosic biofuels, which is a growing market. The recent significant rising of Chinese consumption of meat and dairy products has created a tremendous growth in demand for livestock feed. VIASPACE is aggressively pursuing this near-term revenue opportunity and expects the high-yield grass business to generate $20 million in revenue in the next two years, while it develops the biofuels business in the near term.

First, we are creating a combined business model of using Giant King Grass for animal feed in conjunction or parallel with the development of a plantation to fuel a 12 MW biomass power plant. In other words, this business model will generate animal feed revenues in the short term while simultaneously providing Giant King Grass propagation material to establish a biomass plantation that will in turn generate biomass driven electricity revenues in the longer term.
