News from Mr. Jerry.

Nov. 14--ANTOINE CREEK -- A local marijuana farm and processor has signed up to provide a key ingredient for a new line of ointments produced by a Nevada company.

Antoine Creek Farms (ACF) signed an agreement last week to join with Cannabis Sativa Inc. of Mesquite, Nevada, in producing two types of cannabis-infused topical balms to be sold at retail shops in the states recreational marijuana market.

Called Hi Recover and Hi Releaf, the balms will contain about 50 milligrams of cannabidiol, an ingredient in marijuana thats considered to have soothing properties. ACF will infuse the ointments with the ingredient at their licensed facilities north of Chelan.

"At Antoine Creek Farms, were looking to the horizon of legal marijuana markets, and part of that means forecasting and developing market demands and needs," said Timothy McCormack, CEO of ACF. "We believe one underserved part of this emerging market is topical ointments and even cosmetics."

The companies plan to have the ointments on store shelves by the end of the year, McCormack said.
