fuagf -- coupla things:

there is nothing yet at least tying any refugees (or 'economic migrants', for that matter), as such, to the attacks/attackers and their accomplices/support -- refugees, at least, who are, after all, fleeing from precisely the same sort of violence, and likely literally the same attackers, that drove them to flee in the first place -- reports/accounts I heard through the evening on MSNBC were consistent that the attackers who were heard to speak spoke in very native French; I would think the attackers were likely at least mostly a combination of folks who went from France/Europe to fight in Syria, with ISIS and/or whichever other such group(s), and then returned, along with perhaps some who were radicalized and trained entirely within France/Europe (where yes, of course, they clearly all were trained) -- if it does turn out that some or all of the attackers and/or their accomplices/support were actual refugees or migrants, then fine, fuggitall, blame/anger/retribution aimed generally at them will be at least in some sense understandable -- but if not, then any such directed at them will be a gross lie, a gross conflation and mangling of the reality, inherently unwarranted and unjust

before this, support for Le Pen and her far-right Front National party was already running at or near 25% -- one correspondent I heard reported seeing a group of 4 young skinhead men, overjoyed and all pumped up, jubilantly prancing down the street, screaming and shouting and whooping and hollering 'It's our time!' and similar such while cursing out, among others, Muslims and Jews -- if this was planned as a means to further impel France into an overt fascism, it was well conceived
