Abstract...From Patent accepted by USPTO

A high performance, low cost microprocessor system having a variable speed system clock is disclosed herein. The microprocessor system includes an integrated circuit having a central processing unit and a ring oscillator variable speed system clock for clocking the microprocessor. The central processing unit and ring oscillator variable speed system clock each include a plurality of electronic devices of like type, which allows the central processing unit to operate at a variable processing frequency dependent upon a variable speed of the ring oscillator variable speed system clock.

Grewel's decision..

Because these statements would be understood by one of ordinary skill in the art as disclaiming certain scope of the disputed “entire oscillator” term, the court RECOMMENDS construction of the term to reflect this disclaimer, as follows: “an [oscillator] located entirely on the same semiconductor substrate as the [central processing unit] that does not require a control signal and whose frequency is not fixed by any external crystal.

My comments of Grewel's decision..

I believe that the CC recommended by Judge Grewel is a much more focused and narrowed rendition of the specific 'novelty', of the "336" patent,which distinguises it from any and all previous inventions "AND", is being copied by the infringers..

Judge Grewel saw through all the semantic decorations hung onto
the simple and unique operation of the "336",and trimmed away all but the essentials..IMO...

Therefore I believe Patriot will prevail in Court,, IMO

PS;

Especially if a trial is held before 'JUDGE GREWEL'..

..."AGAIN"...

Have a pleasant day..
