The ohio pot initiative went down hard. A majority favor legalization there, but some oligarchs decided to hijack that fact and wrote the law such that only 10 sites would be allowed to grow it, conveniently controlled by corps. The people rejected that form of legalization as making it into a cash machine for a very select few is not what ohio had in mind. They voted for principle; preferring letting prohibition continue than letting big business control it. good for them.
