I count 5 waves up in SPX.

wave 1: late September low to early October high
wave 2: early October high to early October low.
wave 3: early October low to mid October high.
wave 4: mid October high to mid October pullback.
wave 5: mid October pullback to present

Some sort of pullback is due, regardless of the degree of wave just completed.
