shtsqsh -- our big spring rains ended our big longer-term drought -- but we then had a quite dry stretch from the beginning of June through to just before this latest event, a dry stretch which re-established a degree of drought -- which has now been at least largely wiped out by this latest event -- drought is never far away here, even after big rains -- a few dry months, especially through the warm/hot summer season, and a new drought builds -- for a look at our reservoirs,
