Boomsoon..The NIH and the SBIR funding proposals require the project they will fund to have enough funds given to finish the projected goals based on the projected costs to finish the given project.There is a ton of information on the process and how it works through the stages of the review process available to study.In the review process,in this case, the amount it will take to complete the development of the C-Space goals is determined by the review board.The amount of Government funds fell short of the projected cost to complete the project goals.Victor Keen pointed this out in his blog when he mentioned the cost for the project is significantly higher than previously believed.Its not that the review board didn't like the technology and the benefits of C-Space in viewing all the 3D data out there today, its just that the cost for the development was higher than 3Dicon anticipated and the funding available was not enough.You have to have the ability to complete the projected goals with the money given out. The NIH grant was 150 k up front and a possible 1 million after 6 months.The SBIR grant I believe was around 1.75 million total for several years.In any case the funding didn't pay enough. The focus now as we know is in a partnership, aquisituion or some other type of strategic transaction ,as Mr.Keen has pointed out. Three things stand out ,one Victor invests 200 k to clean up some debt and number 2 we are in talks with several companies and number three Victor made reference to the companies who have showed interest in our technology such as Boeing ,Raytheon ,Lockheed Martin and some Major Health Care institutions along with several others. Are we in talks with some of these companies? Its clear to all of us that we are have some NDAs working at this time.Hope for the best!!
