So how long does it take for this type of thing to move forward? I'd love to get something, anything, for my 1.3 million shares, but at the same time would at least be able to write off the loss. Last year, I couldn't get these shares off my account, so I wasn't able to write off. If they don't resolve things one way or another it looks like I'm stuck with them for another year. Some brokers will buy the shares for $1 so you can book the loss, but fidelity doesn't offer that service.
