I think Lincoln Chafee showed up at the wrong debate. The republicans could still pick him up in free agency, he would sort of fit in the clown car, and join the rest of the wing men and woman. After all, he has experience as a republican senator, was appointed to the job to fill the seat of his father (very bush-like in many ways), and comes up with nonsensical answers to direct questions in a way that would endear himself to the tea party. Trump could use him as a verbal punching bag, and he wouldn't even notice. I bet if one dug a little deeper than Anderson Cooper did, one could find that he could expound on alien spacecraft and even show off a collection of scale models.
To any corporations that have donated money to his campaign: Citizens United means you can buy him, but doesn't mean he is a bargain.
The libertarian roster is a little thin, maybe he could find a niche there. except i saw Jesse Ventura on the Nightly Show last night, and he says he wants to run as the libertarian candidate, because he doesn't believe in political parties and the libertarians, by definition, have no definition. Jesse would need a VP, and ol' Lincoln would be the perfect adoring minion for him.
