I am guessing that certification is out the window or in the midst. (Joke). Appreciate your bringing this subject up again.

When I think of all of the timetables and PERT Diagrams that Tom Steipp has published, only the song we sang as kids keeps popping into my head: "She'll be coming round the mountain, when she comes."

It seems it would be crucial to getting a major European contract like the one Gorgol has mentioned so often.

I never could understand why certification takes so long or how one could say one year in advance that it will take a year to achieve.

I have worked for several companies in which products or processes required certification.

The standards have been known a long time. Certification is cut and try. You just do it. Three to six months.

Just why is it that this certification is taking so long? Are they writing a whole new certification standard for the latest Engel machine or for the earlier Engel machine.

Anybody on this board familiar with ISO MACHINERY certifications?

One would think ENGEL would be right on top of this (especially ISO) and this time period seems way to dragged out for a company of Engel's clout and reputation.

Discern and keep watch, so as not to let in the one who deceives, seduces and fascinates
