Global Water Technologies team member gets top ASCE recognition

INDIANAPOLIS, October 11, 2015 -- Global Water Technologies (OTC: GWTR) is pleased to announce that Dr. David (Tom) Iseley has been named to the 2015 Class of Distinguished Members of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), which is holding its annual convention this week in New York City.

Iseley received the highest recognition from the nation's leading engineering society for his nearly 40 years in the civil engineering profession with a focus on the planning, design and construction of underground infrastructure. He currently serves as the director of the Trenchless Technology Center at Louisiana Tech University and is an advisory board member for Global Water Technologies.

Iseley also led Water and Sewer Innovative Resources (WASIR) that was acquired by Global Water Technologies in 2013 and he has been instrumental in development of the "living laboratory" concept that the company initiated in Indianapolis and has expanded that opportunity to several other cities in the southeastern United States. Iseley recently returned from China, where he been developing academic and business partnerships to meet the growing demand for innovative infrastructure solutions.

A founding director of the North American Society for Trenchless Technology, Iseley has served in numerous industry positions, including as chairman of the National Utility Contractors Association's Trenchless Technology Committee and the executive committee of the ASCE Pipeline Division. He also helped to establish the Buried Asset Management Institute - International, a nonprofit that evaluates and develops management protocols for underground water infrastucture.

Iseley earned a bachelor of science degree and a master of business administration from the University of Alabama, Birmingham and a Ph.D. in civil engineering from Purdue University.
